Serenity rules

Just saw Serenity with Mark, Matt, & Alec. Because of my kid-infested lifestyle, I don't get out to see many movies. But...

...this filck takes the cake as best of 2005. This film was SO refreshing. In preparation for seeing this I've been catching up with the original Firefly series being rerun on the SciFi channel. It's been helpful in getting to know the characters but not mandatory for enjoying the film. Mark & I agreed that some key elements went 'missing' but apparently this is director Joss Whedon's, M.O.

Anyway, totally enjoyable. And the biggest lesson learned is:

Do NOT mess with River!
