Firefly cont'd? Not so much...

Back in the 80's when I went to a lot of rock shows, I loved bands that could knock out a 40 minute set and blow my socks off. To me, it was a real art form to be able to do this. You know - show us everything you've got in a relatively short time and move on. Back then, we didn't necessarily want long sets and songs from a club band playing power-pop or hard rock.

Maybe the purported 'end' of the Firefly saga isn't such a bad thing. Maybe fourteen or so great episodes and a blockbuster movie conclusion isn't such a bad thing. You can have a nice little gem in your DVD collection to covet.

Just like an Armchair Theatre from Jeff Lynne.
